Dr. Doug Arnold studied medicine at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1989. He completed his residency in family medicine In Calgary in 1991. Having met and married his wife Danielle in Calgary, he opened his family practice in Timmins in the fall of 1991.
Over the years at first St. Mary’s and then TADH, he served as the clinical chief of family practice, he was the president of Hospitalist group at it’s inception, he became the Vice-president of the Medical Staff in 2014 and became the President of the Medical Staff in 2016.
In 1996, Dr. Arnold started providing Occupational Health Services to the Pamour Mine, Royal Oak Mine. Over the years his Occupational Health practice grew as he provided more consulting work to the local area mines. In 2007 he closed his family practice and started working in the field of Occupational Medicine full-time for multiple companies in northern Ontario.
Dr. Arnold is married to Danielle and they have four children. Dr. Arnold is actively involved in his local home church, First Baptist Church, Timmins.
