What We Do
The Board is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the Hospital in accordance with its by-laws and the Hospital's mission, vision and values. It meets on a monthly basis to ensure that the Hospital has the resources and processes necessary to provide the highest standards of care and to meet the current and future health care needs of the communities it serves.
In order to effectively oversee the complex operations of the Hospital, the Board establishes various Committees and delegates specific responsibilities to them. Each Board member sits on at least one committee overseeing such aspects as Quality and Safety, Governance, Finance and Human Resources.
